Team News

Defender James Chester (calf) and goalkeeper Joseph Anang (arm) have both resumed full training over the last week but they are not yet being considered for first-team selection.

Warne's Words

Head Coach Paul Warne spoke to RamsTV after the Rams closed out 2022 with a win against Cambridge United on Friday night and looked ahead to the visit of Accrington Stanley.

He said: "There's not much time to prepare for it but it will be a similar; a big ask.

"It will be a tough game, it always is when we play them so we will have to be at our glorious best. I made a couple of changes hoping it would sharpen it up and we will probably have to do it again as the games are thick and fast.

"Hopefully we can get a positive result and it will set us up nicely for the turn of the year."

From The Dressing Room

Matchwinner Lewis Dobbin spoke to RamsTV after the 1-0 win over Cambridge United and looked ahead to the start of 2023.

He said: "I expect a similar game, I expect a battle but we can go into it with our heads held high and full of confidence.

"With us being at home and our crowd, we can play our game a bit more instead of it being more of a scrap."

Match Officials

Martin Woods will take charge of the Rams' first game of 2023 on Monday and will be assisted by Darren Wilding and Lewis Raper.

Lisa Rashid is on fourth official duties.

Woods has been the man in the middle for 16 matches so far in this campaign with the majority of those coming in Sky Bet League Two.

He's handed out 55 yellow cards, two red cards and awarded five penalties to date.
