Derby County will find out their Round One opponents of the newly-branded Carabao Cup on Friday afternoon - and supporters can watch the draw LIVE on dcfc.co.uk.
The draw for first round of the 2017/18 competition will be streamed
live from Bangkok, Thailand, this coming Friday at 1pm (UK time) and it will be shown live right here on dcfc.co.uk.
The stream will appear in a news story which will be published on the website homepage on Friday morning.
Seventy EFL clubs will be in the draw with matches scheduled to take place during the week commencing 7th August.
Sunderland, relegated from the Premier League, will be included in the draw whilst the Sky Bet Championship’s other newcomers Hull City and Middlesbrough will join the competition in Round Two alongside the Premier League clubs that are not competing in Europe.
The draw is also regionalised to minimise travelling time for supporters in the first round with seeding decided by a Club’s finishing position in the EFL.
The first round draw is seeded, based on the final league positions of teams from the 2016/17 season, and has been split regionally into north and south groups, with Gary Rowett’s Rams being one of 17 seeded clubs in the 'north' category.
