Lawrence To Remain With Rams For Treatment

Forward Tom Lawrence will remain with Derby County for treatment on his ankle injury and will sit out Wales’ two upcoming international matches.

The 25-year-old injured his ankle against Ipswich Town last month and recently made his comeback, after sitting out six matches, in the home game against Stoke City last week.

After having his injury assessed, it has been determined that Lawrence will remain with the Rams and sit out Wales’ games against Trinidad & Tobago on Wednesday and Slovakia on Sunday.

Lawrence has 18 caps for Ryan Giggs’ side and has netted three goals on the international stage.
