Manager Phillip Cocu has made one change to the side which beat Norwich City 1-0 before the international break for this evening’s Sky Bet Championship clash against Watford (7.45pm kick off).

Fresh off the back of his senior international debut with the Republic of Ireland on Wednesday, Jason Knight retains his place in the starting squad as Max Bird returns.

He replaces Kamil Jozwiak who played 72 minutes for his national side Poland on Wednesday night.

David Marshall, who starred for Scotland, keeping three clean sheets in as many games, also keeps his spot in goal, despite only playing two days ago.

Elsewhere, Tom Lawrence returns to the substitutes bench for the first time this season. He suffered a dislocated shoulder at the end of last season but has recovered and could feature from the bench tonight.

Here are the teams:

Derby County: Marshall, Shinnie, Bird, Byrne, Clarke, Evans, Holmes, Buchanan, Rooney, Davies, Knight.

Substitutes: Roos, Wisdom, Forsyth, te Wierik, Lawrence, Whittaker, Hector-Ingram.

Watford: Foster, Ekong, Kabasele, Ngakia, Wilmot, Feminia, Cleverley, Chalobah, Quina, Sema, Pedro

Substitutes: Bachmann, Cathcart, Stevenson, Garner, Phillips, Hungbo, Murray.
