A number of Derby County players featured for their respective loan clubs this weekend and here is a round up of how they got on.


Goalkeeper Jonathan Mitchell made a string of good saves to ensure his Oxford United side picked up a point away at Wycombe Wanderers this week.

That earned the shot stopper’s fourth clean sheet for the club, but his first in the league for his loan side.

Staying in League One and midfielder Luke Thomas played 89 minutes of Coventry City’s 1-0 home victory against Barnsley. The 19-year-old, who is continuing to impress at the Ricoh Arena, made his sixth appearance for the Sky Blues.

Striker Chris Martin played the final three minutes of Hull City’s 2-0 victory over Ipswich Town whilst in League Two, Timi Elsnik featured in the final 20 minutes of Mansfield Town’s defeat against Exeter City.

Kellen Gordon was an unused substitute in Lincoln City’s 1-2 victory over Macclesfield Town, whilst Callum Guy (Blackpool), Max Lowe (Aberdeen), Alex Babos (Real Union) and Nick Blackman (Sporting Gijon) did not feature for their loan clubs this weekend.
