A number of Derby County youngsters featured for their respective loan clubs at the weekend and here is a round-up of how they got on.


Full-back Max Lowe began his loan spell with Scottish Premier League side Aberdeen on the losing side as they fell to a 2-0 defeat at home to Kilmarnock.

The 21-year-old played the full 90 minutes and impressed on debut but unfortunately could not help his side gain the three points.

Goalkeeper Jonathan Mitchell saw his Oxford United side take the lead at the Stadium of Light against Sunderland in Sky Bet League One but a second half strike from Charlie Wyke levelled the scores as the game ended 1-1.

Also in League One, Luke Thomas made his fourth appearance for Coventry City at the weekend but was unable to prevent his side from falling to a home defeat against Rochdale, whilst Kellan Gordon came on as an 84th minute subsistitute as his Lincoln City side beat Exeter City 3-0 in League Two.

Matthew Yates was the only loanee to pick up a victory this weekend as Gloucester City beat Hungerford Town 2-1 in National League South.

Nick Blackman (Sporting Gijon), Chris Martin (Hull City), Alex Babos (Real Union), Callum Guy (Blackpool) and Timi Elsnik (Mansfield Town) did not feature for their respective loan sides.
