Frank Lampard has been nominated for the Sky Bet Championship Manager of the Month award for the first time following an impressive set of results in October.

Derby remained unbeaten during the month and Lampard saw his side rise into the division's play-off places.
Following consecutive 1-1 draws against in-form sides Norwich City and Queens Park Rangers at the start of the month, the Rams hit back after the international break with three positive results against teams also challenging for promotion.
Jack Marriott’s superb second-half finish against league leaders Sheffield United secured all three points in a 2-1 success at Pride Park Stadium whilst four days later, Lampard’s side struck four past West Bromwich Albion in a convincing 4-1 victory at the Hawthorns.
The Rams finished the month with a 1-1 draw at the Riverside Stadium against Middlesbrough. A George Friend own goal had put Lampard’s side ahead, but with five minutes remaining defender Jayden Bogle put through his own net.
Lampard has been nominated alongside Garry Monk (Birmingham City), Neil Harris (Millwall) and Steve McClaren (Queens Park Rangers), and the winner will be announced on Friday 9th November.
The judging panel comprises former Derby County manager
George Burley, Sky Sports’ EFL League expert Don Goodman; EFL Marketing
Director Drew Barrand, League Managers’ Association Director Olaf Dixon and Sky
Bet EFL Trader Mikey Mumford.
